AI for WhatsApp

SCALE PLANGroup management for teams

WhatsApp group management for teams.

Your team already works in WhatsApp groups. Add one number to them and see what is happening: daily AI digests, scheduled posts and an API to build dashboards. Nobody on the team installs anything.

Chats and dashboard are illustrative. Dashboards are built by you on the Developer API and webhooks, or by us on request.

The problem

The updates exist. Nobody can read them all.

Sales calls, site visits, deliveries, client requests: the real status of your business gets reported in WhatsApp groups. By evening there are hundreds of messages, and a manager cannot read them all.

Scrolling is too late

Reading the group at night means you find problems after the day is over.

Reports get skipped

Daily spreadsheets add work for busy people, so they slip.

Nothing is searchable

Decisions and promises disappear into a long thread.

How it works

One number. Three steps.

01

Link a dedicated number

Scan a QR code in Linked Devices. Use a dedicated number, so it only sees the groups you add it to.

02

Add it to your work groups

Add the number to the sales, operations or support groups you want covered. Your team changes nothing.

03

See what is happening

Get AI digests, schedule posts, or stream every message to a dashboard you build on the API.

What you get

Everything you need to run on groups.

🧠 AI digests that answer your question

Get a summary of one or several groups, daily or weekly, with highlights, actions and open questions. Tell it what you want to know, for example which deals are stuck, and it points those out. Read it in the app or get it on WhatsApp.

🗓️ Scheduled posts and announcements

Write the week's reminders and announcements once and schedule them into any group the number is in, whether you are an admin or not.

⚡ A real-time message stream

Send every group message and group event to your own server with signed webhooks, the moment it happens. Build alerts, boards and reports on it.

🛠️ Group admin from the API

List groups, read recent messages, post, rename, and add or remove members when your number is an admin.

📊 Dashboards, built your way

There is no fixed dashboard, because every team tracks something different. Build yours on the API, or tell us what you want to track and we can build it for you. [email protected]

# every group message, to your server

{ "event": "message.any", "payload": { ... } }

Developers: start with the WhatsApp group API guide and the WhatsApp webhook tutorial.

Built for work, not for personal chats

Use it fairly.

Group management is for business groups, the ones your team already uses to coordinate work. It is not for anyone's personal chats, and it should not be used that way.

  • Use a dedicated number, so it only sees the groups you add it to.
  • Tell your team that work groups are reviewed.
  • Use the view to unblock people, not to catch them out. Teams that see it as support share more.

Plan

Group management is part of Scale.

Scale includes group management for teams, scheduled group posts, daily group summaries and higher API rate limits. The developer API and webhooks start on Growth. Group features are not part of the 7-day free trial, so they need a paid Scale plan.

Compared with other tools

Other ways to manage WhatsApp groups.

Tools like Periskope, Eazybe and DoubleTick also help teams manage WhatsApp groups and chats, with their own strengths such as ticketing, round robin assignment, CRM sync and the official Business API. AI for WhatsApp is the simpler route: one linked number, AI digests and an API you can build on. Read an honest comparison of each:

Frequently asked questions

What is WhatsApp group management for teams?

It means adding one linked number to your team's work groups so you can see what is happening in them. You get AI digests of each group, can schedule posts into groups, and can stream every group message to your own systems to build dashboards.

Do my team members need to install anything?

No. Only the one number you link needs to be in the group. Your team keeps using WhatsApp exactly as before.

Which plan includes group management?

Group management for teams, scheduled group posts and daily group summaries are part of the Scale plan. They are not part of the free trial. The developer API and webhooks start on Growth.

Does it read personal chats?

It only sees the groups the linked number is a member of. Use a dedicated number for work groups, so nothing personal is ever in view, and tell your team that the group is reviewed.

Is there a built-in team dashboard?

Not today. You build one on the Developer API and webhooks, and we can also build a dashboard for your team depending on what you need to track. Email [email protected].

Can the AI reply inside the group?

Summaries are not posted to the group. You read them in the app and can have them sent to you on WhatsApp. You can post into a group through scheduled posts or the API.

Can one summary cover several groups?

Yes. A summary can cover several groups with a combined overview, and you can run it daily or weekly. You can also tell it what you want to know, for example which deals are stuck.

Do I need the WhatsApp Business API?

No. You link your number by scanning a QR code in Linked Devices, the same way as WhatsApp Web.

Will my number get banned?

AI for WhatsApp works through a linked device, which is not part of Meta's official API, and WhatsApp's terms restrict unofficial automation. We recommend a dedicated number, replying to people who message you, and avoiding bulk unsolicited messages.
